This is coming from a nb to this board, but I stayed after only popping in to scout the status of KL. Again, I&#39;m new to the board, but I like the fact that there is a large section devoted to all p2p. I know this doesn&#39;t please KL purists, but there aren&#39;t many boards that have both the breadth of knowledge of all p2p and the activity that one finds here.

If the ask me, the mods have done a good job.

I am sure whoever Error403 will do a fine job with it, but yeah this does strike me as something odd, the first post i ever made on this forum was replyied to by Paul and its just such a shame to see him go and now we have 2 admins from outside the community, although im sure they are great guys, one would have made the assumption that the promotion to admin should have been done in house. But meh

i would have to add my d&#39;accord to this - its not that 7th hasnt done plenty of work with the board, and im sure we&#39;re all grateful for the time and effort put in by him, but to lose both admins in the space of a couple of weeks strikes a chord...i think we all have a natural mistrust of change; and who could blame us, considering the original purpose of this board?

Do you really think that Paul & VB choose random admins to replace them ? Common you should know them better &#33; Please don&#39;t forget that VB & Paul are trustable sources and they would never leave without thinking about the community.

It is sad that VB and Paul left and believe me: nobody can or even tries to replace them cause they are the board founders. They are the reason why this community exists and they did an awesome job so why not trust their choices ?

We mods suggsted a lot of the changes lately (if not all), it was the right time to do it. There has always been a lot of debates on other p2p apps on this forum, we just gave them the apropiate place.

As in real life, people leaving, always will have some sort of sentiment. But i&#39;m sure Paul & VB left us in good hands. They left a board that has never been working so smooth.
7th showed a lot of dedication and hard work to aply the changes that were suggested by the mod team.
We all will profit and enjoy from the work VB & Paul have done in the past 1,5 year&#33;

So i hope you guys will give the new admins the same confidence as Paul & VB did&#33;

I don&#39;t think it&#39;s a matter of the general populace not trusting VB and Paul&#39;s choices, I think it&#39;s a matter of everything changing at a fairly rapid pace in the last two weeks. And I think most of us are a paranoid lot to begin with.

You&#39;ve done a bang-up job so far 7th, and I imagine Error will as well. It is sad that this is no longer the small, somewhat secret community that was around when I first came here (although I went around posting unregistered-like for about 2 months), but I wouldn&#39;t still be here if it wasn&#39;t something I enjoyed.

It&#39;s a community far better able to cope with growing; I&#39;ve seen others that experienced large growth and radical changes and they are no longer fun places to be.
