you can paint anything....as long as you know what you're doing...
for example...if you want a black case...you can paint it...

that seem a little risky for my new dvd burner....sanding the front cover....and if u change my mind later i end up w/ a very ugly dvd burner
if its a new pc (and one tahts gonna last about a year....) you could paint it.... i was thinking of painting my computer black...but i didnt do it.... a friend of mine did it but he did a BAD job on the paint.... but i would do a good job hehe...i got patience
