Those channels I list generally have tons of bots on-line but also... with a ton of people there are some queues for the more popular files. #cdwarez usually has over 3200+ people in at any given moment but at least 100 of those are bots with 20 to 25 slots each... if by some chance you get in a queue it wont last too long. At least that's been my experiences.

Engvalt allready listed most of the channels I use let me just add

#mp3s on irc.lostsoulz.org

they have many nice bots with good speeds and a lot of nice files not only music but a lot movies too. And it seems they have almost all the time free slots
