Well yes, yet I'm looking into the future, and I'm just wondering, because adamp2p said that the cards that use 256mb suck, so I'm just looking for a 2nd opinion before I drop the $$ for the card...

look the problem with cards today is that they use directx9 in the engine..... this doesnt make the card use the 128mb.....but makes the card use more than needed....
if all games used openGL systems....we would still be using our mx440's!
heck enemy territory and call of duty use this and these games run easily on my card..... tsk tsk developers....
thats why v0od0o is coming back baby.....and its coming back with opengl hand-by-hand!!!!![]()

That went straight over my head. Is that a good thing if a bad thing.....?
So XT 256mb, or XT 128mb? (remember = FUTURE)
amount of video ram (128 or 256) isnt what makes a card powerful..... but its chipset.... the ti4600 can still beat a 5600 in some areas cuz it has a VERY powerful chipset
i think they are the same..... but i havent heard of connect3d cards..... just heard that saphire's are good
Cool, then I shall get that card and hope for the best.
