    i use nero 6 to burn my music but when i try to burn films onto disc it wont do it is there any software out there to help me

    what error message (if any) are you getting?
    are you trying to burn the avi's as data?

    nero 6 should be capable of burning avi's to disc...

    i dont get any error messege im trying to put it onto vcd and when it trys to convert it the status bar just stays at zero i can leave it on all night and it wont move

    download a program called tmpgenc
    this can be used to convert the avi into mpeg format which can be put directly onto the disc

    As the previous posts asked,what is it you are trying to do??
    Do you want to watch them on your standalone DVD player or are you trying to burn them as data?
    Unless you tell us,we cant help you mate.

    You will need to convert them first then.The best place to look for guides is here.
    That has everything you will need to know.

    yes just to get he point across, get tmpgenc and convert it
