Well I was turned easily. All it took was for someone to say "Amds are better for games". Didn't care to figure out why. Didn't care to compare anything, I just got amd. B)

Well just played Need for Speed Underground after urpgrading and there was such a difference, each spoke of the rim was so crisp and defined whereas with the mx420 it was sorta blurry mesh.
Dues Ex 2 purrs like a beauty on this card churning out top quality graphics, everything on high with no lag.

meh, screw the 9600xt lol....i decided to go w/ the cheap 9600 non pro... my mx440 64mb PCI can play halo on medium setting at 800x600 so the 9600 128mb should be able to do it at 1024x768 at med or high setting, and beside, my old one was a pci and the 9600 is gonna be 8x agp

Ahhh 32mbs...the mediocre days...I remember those days...
Well according to these guys, you will be able to play tomorrow's games with that card. I'll know for sure when I get it. It should run half-life 2 well...after all, it comes with the card(voucher at least...). It's safe to say that the 9600 and xt will perform nicely.
