Hey all, im hoping someone can help here.
On my forum, when people log in, close browser and then return, they need to log in again. Including myself, and I know for sure its not my comp because:

I have disabled all firewalls and other security programs, set ie settings to low and 'allow all cookies', cleared current cookies and temp files. Then logged in, closed browser, returned to site and need to log in again.

the forum url is: http://www.board.trshady.ashst.com or http://www.trshady.ashst.com/board/
But, TRshady.com is set to point to it, so the forum can also be seen using the url http://www.trshady.com/board/

My current cookie settings in admin cp are:

cookie domain: .trshady.ashst.com
Cookie name prefix board_
Cookie path: /board/

Hope someone can help

I am not sure how the cookies should be setup in Invision. But I run a board elsewhere and I dont have any path for cookie settings and no one ever has problem with it. By default that path was empty so I left it like that and it works.

Yeah, had tried leaving it blank but still wouldn't work.
But its solved now and the problem was ...

by using www.board.trshady.com to access forum.
and setting 'general configuraiton' option for board url to the same.
