    y do u want a mx440 when for a bit more u can get the 5200

    im not asking that...i already KNOW about the fx5200....however my mx440 kicks fx5200 in most dx8.1- games..... fx5200 only kicks my cards ass in dx9+ games...

    besides... i just wanna know if this mx is dx or not?

    so you're plannin on upgrading from a 64mb ddr mx440 to a 128mb? or is this for another computer

    I'm pretty sure it is not DX9 compliant.

    I think DX9 compliance starts with the FX series.
    I personally find the fx5200 very good, but read my post about the drivers.

    most mx card isnt dx8.1 support so y is that dumb
