Adsl Speeds.

Ive recently changed to ADSL through a few weeks ago through V21.co.uk.
Connections speeds have proved to be unsatisfactory. I did a speed test and got back 486kb/s and iam using a 512 service: could any of following be effecting speeds.

Modem, or any hardware network crd ect.
Telephone socket, microspliter or landline condition
Proximity from isp or bradwidth of local exchange.
Performance of PC.

Theres nothing wrong with that speed.

I have 512 adsl and get about 450kb/s on average.
