Norton Personal Firewall works well methinks.

Norton is good as a package. Zone Alarm is good as long as you know what you're doing.

For the new people, think of that guy looking out for you. You'll save alot of trouble if you look in the manual.

hmmmmmmmm, I actually chose Zone Alarm because I found it the easiest to use! I just let it run in the background and forget about it.

I've ended up using Sygate - no splash screen or tray icon. Found that with Zone Alarm I couldn't view some sites that used java, even checking through all the permissions I still couldn't connect.
