If you want to use Kazaa use K++ - I tried version 2.5 and I would not suggest you to do that - It causes so much trouble all this spyware that my pc has to be reinstalled and it always tried to load some "P2P Netowrking..." - do not know what this was... - but it slow down everything.

As I am an adicctive working with WIN98 SE I just tell my experience.

Added: Win2000 did not run on my PC, I mean I tried to install and the
installation although my pc is 800mhz did not work. And I hate reinstalling.

There is no K-Lite 2.6 Final. The K-Lite 2.6 are still in RC's. It requires Windows 2000/XP/2003 to run.

I suggest you use 2.4.3 instead. It should run on 98.

the keywords here are "if", "WILL" (the biggest one), & "betas" (RC5 etc.)

i know there isnt a "K-Lite 2.6 Final" there's only the RC5 on #klchat (which is a beta, and i have on my laptop) and i was wonder WHEN the final version does come out will it run on Windows 98?

RC stands for release candidate. Check around in the DEVELOPMENT forum to pick up on discussion of development projects.

Typically RC's only become available is if the developer makes them available, or if they are "leaked."
