Damn i still can't overwrite the old .cdb file.

Have you tried renaming the old file 'oldcleaner.cbd' or temp. removing it to see what happens??

still looking....havent installed yet, reading about temp files, dont want to loose my news downloads.

Active programms and their registry settings can be vhecked if they are altered by a trojan. If so, this option can detect it and maybe corret it. Also VBscript and Jscript can be disabled so that they won't execute scripts. In short, that's what the message says.

I email them with the same info that I posted and this was their response:

You should check both for best security. They disable VBScript and Jscript
which are commonly used by trojans. If you find that you need to enabled
you can re-enable them easily.

3 freakin' sentences, thats it!!

I hate those minimum wage responders

How will I find out if I need them if my freakin windows doesn't start

And what about all my freely obtained software

They moved my post to the TCmonitor section, so I guess it has to do with that.

In reading in the forum the admin that emailed me talks about a patch for tcmonitor but didnt mention if it was already fixed in the new version or needs to be added, plus I forgot to mention my OS /feels like noob

Anyways SH, did the rename 'old' or remove idea work??
