All the clams of my personal acquaintance have been ecstatic.

Reputation does count for something, but I've found that many a time the good rep far outshines the actual deed.

Edit: Dawg, Yes Corsair has a very good reputation. They are a far bigger company and more people have heard of them.
Mushkin is much smaller, and as a result have a more underground presence.
Just cruise a forum like Overclockers.com and see how many people ( and who they are) that show Mushkin in their sigs....

Well isnt corsairs rep better then mushkin...and if the timings are so small i cant tell then i would have gotten the corsair...but what do people tighten timings for if you cant tell a diff? like if i was running it at 1.5-2-2-6 compared to 2-3-2-6....could i tell a diff?

No, it's not worth it at all - it makes little difference to even a benchmark test, and you will certainly not be able to notice any difference during the usage of the PC.

It is best to aim for stability and effeciency; use your RAM at the exact same clock rate as your CPU's FSB and let the BIOS decide all the other timings for you by SPD; this'll give you the safest and most stable set up.
