Championship Manager? Never heard of it... *scatches head*
Championship Manager is a football (soccer) management game. You take control of any team in europe and well... manage them (buy/sell train players etc...).
If your into football (soccer) management games then this game is the dog's bollocks!!

Another fan of CM; nice one. B)
Nah didn't use any cheat, started with a team in the conference and tried to build them up took ages though. I stopped playing though about 2 months ago because i want to wait for the new version, CM 4 which is out on 28 Feb 03 which has got the following leagues in it:
Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, China, Columbia, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, England, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Holland, Hong Kong, India, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Mexico, N. Ireland, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Russia, S. Africa, S. Korea, Scotland, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, USA, Wales, Yugoslavia.
39 in total.
And mostly because i want to play with AFC Wimbledon (the new dons in the Combined Counties League) and take them to the top.
More info about the game can be found at SIgames

Max Payne, all the way.
I really liked Syphon Filter when it came out and Max Payne was like Syphon Filter on steroids. Flying through the air, in slow mo, with 2 ingrams, shooting 2 guys in front of you , flipping, then shooting two guys behind you all in one move?
Awesome!
At the end the game got boring because if you are a real gamer you get the hang of it a quarter of the way through, but it was a pretty dark story, and I thought the dream levels were a neat idea.
The configuration on the pc is easy, with quicksave at the touch of the F5 button. You get to kill about 600+ bad guys, burn junkies, avenge your wife, the whole 9.
Can't wait for 2 to come out.

I spent an entire year playing the original Civilization, and just about nothing but. That was on an Amiga. Gary Grigsby's Pacific War and War In Russia are the most enduring...I started playing those more than ten years ago and still play them pretty often.
'The best game' is impossible for me to say. There are so many of them.
