OK i got this Soundblaster 16 and i'm gonna give it to me friend. But when i had the card when i was younger i switched a couple of the rubber things jumpers to something else and now i'm not sure if it's gonna work. I don't wanna test it because i'm afraid it will break my computer

Go to their website and look in the manual for your card.
Then set the jumpers back to default.

    Jumpers on a soundcard??...

since when did sound cards have jumpers?

look, if u did screw these "jumpers," chances are that ur PC will still work (hardware isnt known to "break" PCs unless theres a bomb inside)

    Indeed.
If it was before a year ago, then truly it was before my time.
