Just installed NAV 2004 Pro today and did the activation crack now when i try to go to the recycling bin I get an error

Could not make Communication link with Norton's Unerase Protection Service.

any ideas??

Get rid of Unerase wizard. It's completely useless. All it does it waste space and the only information it stores are viruses.
If I were you, I wouldn't even use Norton's software anymore. Symantec has been getting complaints about their 2004 software and they can't solve them. Especially internet security 2004.
AVG anti-virus is so much better. lighter, unabrusive and catches much more. Systemworks is useless too. There's better out there. For free too.

can anyone recommend a good un erase program then??

use norton antivirus corp. It does not have all that crap and is also very light.
It is so much better than any other versions.

For a good un delete program use Restoration. It is about 193k and does not really need to installed. (it good to run from winPE)

ditto that on restoration, its been really good to me for recovering files
its also got a nifty permanent delete function that i've found far more
effective than any other (so far), and its freeware

as for the NAV 2004, ive heard nothing but complaints,
but maybe thats cause its a cracked version?

me, i still use 2003, no real beef with it except its hoggish as hell on system
got about 9 months left on legit subscription, then maybe its AVG for me
I am just a worthless liar. I am just an imbecile.
I will only complicate you. Trust in me and fall as well.
I will find a center in you. I will chew it up and leave.
I will work to elevate you just enough to bring you down.
