Are you talking about the 9700 pro or the 9500 pro?
Are you talking about the 9700 pro or the 9500 pro?
on the L1 bridge?? Im talking about my barton man lol.
Whats the diff between changing the multiplier and the FSB..I wouldnt think it would matter which way you did it but 2000mhz is 2000mhz..but clocker acts like its not.
Also..when I was taking my CD-RW out of my old computer to put it in my new one.. I noticed that it had a cable running from the soundcard up to the cdrw drive....do I need that cord for anything or what?
Also, what exactly is a post...isnt it a beep when you turn your computer on and everythings hooked up?
And one more thing..theres another cable on my PSU that is kinda like the one I had a question about at first...but its longer...and i dont think it fits anywhere..is that correct? whew I think thats it.
BTW I shot that squirel right in the head..im a fucking good shot without a scope too!

i think FSB has a limit..... (not to mention ram has to be able to keep up...) and multipliers dont...
are you seriously planning on ocing if you didnt know that? like dwk says, the amount of fsb you can raise depends on your ram, while multiplier doesnt affect anything.. 250x11 =2750, but your ram has to be able to go at a extra 50mhz but you have good rams so....but if its multiplier, then it could be 200x14= 2800 and your ram wont be affected
POST is the power on self test. As far as I understand that means that you are able to reach the BIOS.
And WTF are you doing shooting squirrels? That is not cool, do you have some need to torture helpless living things? I live by the creed "live and let live." Therefore I would never injure another animal unless it was somehow threatening my life. You got to find more things to do, big dawg. Or maybe someone should shoot you.

why do I piss you off? Like i give a fuck what you think anyway.
I have to shoot squirels..they are threatening my life...we have a huge tree in front of our house and the limbs are rottening. Its because the squirles are eating out the branches and there about the break off..if it falls through the roof..im dead. enough said?
why else do i piss you off and what does the multiplier do that the fsb cant do?
@Adam...I didnt torture it..it was in the head..instant like i said.
Thanks Mr. Elmo that was a good explanation of the multiplier thing but I have NO clue if my bartons locked...the L1 bridge IS NOT cut..which means i CAN overclock it..but the serial number would care to differ..so iduno...guess I wont know untill I get into the bios..
Dont get so fucking mad over a squirel..i wont kill anymore if it pisses you off that bad
