HEY I JUST GOT ALL OF MY NEW STUFF
First question I have...how many fans can I plug into ONE power supply connector? Like how many before they dont have enough power?

shouldnt the molex connector for the fan have another output?
so as much as you want
EDIT: just reread your question, as many as you want becuz fans dont use up taht much power.
All of my fans go into one 5v connector.

clocker's a beast in messing with his air cooling. he spends so much effort to make his case sound like beehive with bees on steriods. lol. i'd just go the easy and effective way by installed a wc system. i don't get clocker sometimes.
Mr Elmo answered my question. I have 5 fans and 4 places to put them. I have plenty of molex connectors and a 500Watt PSU. I was just making sure that I could fit alot on there...Thanks! Also..I used automotive tubing to put almost ALL of my wires in...which I will put a pic of when Im done...this wont hurt my comp will it? Ex....MELT!

the tubing isn't hooked up to anything that generates heat. the wires from the psu don't heat up, it's the psu that does. so ur tubing won't melt.Originally posted by bigdawgfoxx@24 December 2003 - 16:56

well if its automotive i couldnt picture how it would melt....a car engines generate a hell of a lot more heat then your comp which has 5 fans blowing in the case
