I used to do the United Devices project. After a few re-installs I still haven't re-set it up.
Just set up with the klf team at folding.
If I can ever figure out how to set up my router (had it for a year and a half now) I will put 2 machines on.
TD
there is no need to setup routers i think, mines worked fine woithout any forwarded ports, unless u have a firewall,

Folding FAQ
Why does adjusting the core process priority via the task manager not affect its performance? How do I manually adjust the priority of the Folding@home core?
Currently when users try to change the priority of the core via the Windows NT/2000/XP task manager this does not affect how much CPU the core gets. The reason for this is that the work is done by the core thread, which is fixed to run at idle priority and is not affected by the task manager priority for the process (which displays as 'normal' by default). In order to change the priority manually users must use a program that allows thread-level priority adjustments.

are points awarded on how long it actually takes from when u get the wu to completing it, or is it just actual cpu time the points are awarded on. and physical time doesnt matter.
I think that the points are determined by thwe size/complexity of the WU that you were assigned.Originally posted by Livy@29 December 2003 - 06:46

I've had a few 500 unit ones and a few 2500 unit ones and you get a lot more points for the big ones.
Damn Livy...either you are running a Cray mainframe or multiple PCs here...I can't catch up!

I don't understand. I've got F@H running on two machines, but the stats/team page doesn't detect me? Did I forget to do something?
you only show up on the team stats page when you finish a WU. and its sends it to the serverOriginally posted by Infested Cats@29 December 2003 - 19:36
