    Hey my friend is on the phone and he set his refresh rate too high and it says sync out of range. Ive done this many times and forgot how to fix it...HELP PLEASE

    uhhh or not! How would that fix it? I know theres a way to go somewhere and FIX IT! Plugging another monitor wouldnt work.

    the problem is that his monitor won't support the refresh rate it's set at.
    connect a better monitor to it, foo!

    Yeah his is brand new and is nice but wont even support 85hz...he doesnt have a better one...if you had a better one...why wouldnt you be usuing that one in the first place.

    He fixed it so dont worry.

    is someone else has this problem, i think you have to boot into safe mode, which should work, which allows ou to change the refresh rate back, then boot normally and all should be fine
