    I use the PC Cillin Anti-virus program (Now named PC Cillin Internet Security)*. The program was included in a Compact Disc received with the computer I am using. It is an excellent program and offers real time scanning and free virus definition updates. If you are downloading files from an internet location it will scan the files as you access them.

    Works for me, Auto-Protect etc...

    Actually, avast4 scans the download AS it is being downloaded. If anything is detected it stops the download and asks what you want done with it.

    H+BEDV* a German antiviruz, scans automatically as you download, byte by byte.
    it's free but it is not the best. Better than AVG...
    I like NOD32 but it is not free and u can't get the full verss...
    Basicly according to most of the comparisons, nod32 seems to be the most effective, followed by Kerspsky (can't spell) lol give these a try.
