I would recommend that a user "purchases" anti-virus software from one of the leading companies. Other programs probably are not as good.

Sorry, but that's nonsense. I've had both Norton and McAfee antiviruses on my system, and I've found that AntiVir is better than both of them. It uses far less resources, and detects everything that the other two did. It has the 'active' guard feature that the others do, and that works very well and uses less system resources. It's also regularly updated, and updates are installed via a simple program integrated into the anitvirus. Of course it lacks some of the advanced features that the big name ones do, but that's not really an issue for me.Originally posted by ThePlasticSurgeon@27 December 2003 - 01:25

Norton Antivirus Professional 2003 for meOriginally posted by wenze1@25 December 2003 - 04:33
I'll stick to my Free Norton B) )But it looks like nice free antivirus Program if it does what it say's.
I did the same on norton and it stopped it to.Actually, most AV's scan for viruses while your downloading it. Im using McAfee, and I tested it out by downloading a crack, and it detected a virus and stoped it.
Edit>>>>>Better now lol i didn't even realize that.
Edit I did use the buttons but it put them in backwards.
