Darth Vikram. Not to be a pain, I love what you are doing here, but do we really need to have VideoLAN in there? I mean, avi preview works great for people and is really small. Media Player Classic plays back dat files flawlessly for any format it can handle (yes, mp3) with its only weakness being that it can only playback files while Kazaa is closed. I dunno. Just a thought, since a lot of 56k users use Kazaa as well and getting the latest release, say upgrading from 2.4.4 to 2.4.7. and beyond just seems like a real pain with VideoLAN in there. Can you just stick with Avi Preview? I will try to convince the MPC devs to input progressive playback into their awesome player if you really need to have a damn good player in your package. I'm not saying VideoLAN isn't great, its just too big for a package that is usually less than 4 megs to downoad.

I think I like everything about the KLR 2.4.7, is it really a good idea to put Video lan into the package? All the users I know like AVI preview better plus its much small in its file size. If lots of people like video lan i dont mind you include it in but dont take Avi preview away from those who prefer using it. let people decide what they want to install.

Nice job with the new start page, i didnt like the one included in KLR 2.4.6.

only problem I have with the new start page is that the top address bar doesnt span the whole wifth of the page... im lazy dont fell like doing it myself...
