I have two pc's - a COMPAQ 733 Celeron, which i leave on for about 10 hours a day, never tried 24 hours because i'm concerned the power adaptor on my cable modem will explode, because it gets quite hot. The Pc on the other hand doesnt even get warm and hardly makes any noise.
I would never leave my Athlon XP system on all day, partly because of the noise of the fan  , and partly because i have important business stuff on it, so need it to be reliable and so don't over-use it.

I only used it for 5 to 6 hours coz I'm busy with my business.![]()
