I have a TRUST 710 LCD POWER@M ZOOM. It takes excellent quality pics at 4 Megapixels and records movies too (but no sound).

It cost me £100 (about $150) + I paid another £55 for a 128 Mb SmartMedia card. So Total = £150 ($225), can prob. get it all for less than $200 if you shop around.

You don't really need the SmartMedia card if you can manage with the 8 Mb memory built in, which can take about 10 pics at max. resolution.

    Get the DigiCam
take pictures of famous people (razzia mode) sell piks to magazines (or black mail the famous)
gain cash - then buy dvd

seriously life is alot more creative with the cam (but i would seriously get a good one 4\5mbs - youll regret it later) (second hand?)

I am thinking about this Zedaxax.Just save up some more for a better Camera.

Even though I am a beginner and I guess a Camera like this would not be bad to start off with.

BTW, Smartmedia is dying out. So if you think you're going to use it a lot, and you'll want to buy more memory in the future, look for one that uses Compactflash, Sony Memory Stick, or Secure Digital.
