I don't burn them as MPGs.
I convert them to DVD Video with menus etc using ULead Movie Factory 2.
That creates a playable DVD from avi files.
Then I use Nero 6 to burn the files to DVD-R disks.
A DVD IS an NTSC MPG. It is exactly this...
MPEG-2 720x480 29.97fps
ULead Movie Factory 2 is good for converting, but not as fast as TMPGenc. I still use NERO for DVD burning.[/b][/quote]
I explained what I did earlier, the method suits me.
To each their own. Oh and I think it's PAL for most places outside of the US, or is that a different thing.
