base my facts on the amount of English teams left in the Champions League compared to the amount of Scottish teams left in the Champions League.

That's just comparing how well Scottish teams have done compared to world-wide teams.

    Yeah ...you better blink!

What I meant was, ALL kinds of teams are in the Champs League, so in my mousey-mind Scottish teams may have faced harder oppononts than English teams or ENglish teams got luckier more.

I would welcome Celtic to the English league expecting a very competitive match and wouldn't assume my team would simply walk over them because they're Scottish.

    BTW - I'm a Port Vale fan
You will be able to take them on single handed then SamSam.

might i add during the time of ranger 9 in a row, parkhead had a 3 year waiting line for a season ticket. diehards? where would all our support go when we move down to the EPL? i know a boy who took out a grand loan to go to seville, he never had a ticket for the match or accomodation, his plan was to buy one when he got there, he never told his wife about the loan, so when he got home his bags were packed and waiting for him in the street. thats dedication to a team. payinng £500 for a plane ticket to spain for a one off match, sure enough we will most likely have to wait a few years for the next opportunity like it, but its not as if only a few thousand fans went. 80,000 graced Seville with their award winning behaviour and lack of trouble. whereas i know it is maybe unfair to compare the two but look at the last few european championships and world cups and the trouble caused by english hooligans. i am in no way zenophobic to the english, so i don't want any of you getting upset by this.

Rangers and Celtic will never play in England, and nor should they.

They are a Scottish team, and should stay there. Without the games against these two teams, the rest of the Scottish teams would be broke.

And who in England wants them? Which two teams would be willing to be relegated to accomodate them? What sort of arrogance dictates they should go straight into the Premier League anyway? If they wanted to come to England they should start in the third division.

BTW, were there any Scots in the Celtic team this week? They certainly didn't score!
