That's the obvious use of the program.
Nah... what would be ideal... a CD book or wallet... two discs for your XP Pro, 2 discs for 2003 Server Standard, 2 for 2000 Server, etc., etc., and then you can change OS's in a heartbeat.
Ideally though, you do that with hard drives, and get a case that supports a hard drive caddy...those things are suh-weet.
Keeping them updated? Not a problem as cheap as blanks are. Restore your 3 month old image, update everything, and use Acronis to make a new 2 discs with the latest updates. The trick is to keep a text file in a safe place and on it, note EVERYTHING you manually update or install... for example you update your KL extensions or your eMule or Winamp... so when you update the image you can do all those steps quick like on the old image to bring it up to date, and bust out with a new image.
dude, not trying to argue or anything, but latest isnt always greatest, IMOOriginally posted by DarkReality@29 December 2003 - 04:45
so whether or not it's "worth it" depends on if you really want to be running the latest.
I am just a worthless liar. I am just an imbecile.
I will only complicate you. Trust in me and fall as well.
I will find a center in you. I will chew it up and leave.
I will work to elevate you just enough to bring you down.
