What do you mean by Dvd player?

You mean like a home enterainment DVD player? If thats the case then it would depend on the DVD player, depending on what kinds of DVD's it can play, and what formats it can play.

If your talking about software DVD players on your Comp, like WinDVD, or Cyberpower DVD, then it too would depend on the program, although if your ARE talking about software DVD players, then why just not play it on Windows Media Player? The WMV formats atleast?

im talkin about home entertainment dvd players, and i wana watch it on my tv, coz my comps not really in the right spot to bestle down and watch a 3 hour video and i cant seem to connect my tv to my comp so i thought dvd player would be good. But does it generaly work on most dvd players?

Mind trying to find a link to your specific DVD player? Or just what model number it is, company, something to help me find a site for the DVD player, maybe dig up some info?

i dont htink any dvd player can play wmv or asf....its just mpeg

Thats what I was thinking, more over because his DVD player is also touting the abaility to play 'Video CD's.'

it can play vcd's ive tried that and it works fine and i use nvidia.
