I thought it was pretty good but i wanted to know what that damn cube was and who made it and shit.

I'll have to disagree with your description of the ending being "gay."

I thought it was perfectly apt. It keeps the viewer wondering (as I can see you are).

The sequel ruins that wonderment, when it tries to answer all the questions.

Cube 2 doesn't explain much further - about a minute of explanation at the end, still keeps you wondering though. I don't mind that though and really like both films. I'm betting there will be a Cube 3 though.

Cube 2 just lets you know that it involves some bigger power. That each person was selected specifically (elaborates on that more so than the first). So the wonder is still left, even more so because of.... well I can't spoil it, but there is one extra feature that makes you think "what is that for?".

cube 3 is gonna be a prequel to the other two...i hate prequels but it still should be pretty good
