    I downloaded this file from BitTorrent and i cannot delete it i have tried everything nothing will get rid of it it won't run it used to but not now, it says another program running it, when nothing is help me with this

    Unable to Delete AVI Fix.

    Open regedit and go to:
    HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\SystemFileAssociations\.avi\shellex\PropertyHandler
    Delete the value you find there.

    This is due to XP (explorer in particular) trying to create a preview
    for it. Now because the file is corrupted or incomplete,
    it cannot read it properly, hence, it will not release the file.
    This prevents explorer from doing this.

    As usual, backup the registry key before deleting it.

    Its ok now i found another solution sorry for wasting yuor time, i got a program that deletes the file on boot up

    i usually just move everything out of the folder that said file is in and then just delete the folder with the f'ed up file in it. well, it works...

    yeah its move on boot its really good but no unistall feature
