Ace Frehley have a very special way of playing, never heard anyone, even cover-artists, who can get the same feel and edge to his solos

Toni Iommy also have a distinct sound, even though it sucks (the sound that is)

edit: Hey! I almost forgot - Ricthie Blackmore (no need to comment)

That jackoff is the worst guitarist since I found my brothers guitar and started plucking the strings on it making a bunch of horrable noise.(Note: Arm cannot play the guitar)

    Tom Morello kicks ass.

Charlie Hunter is a favorite of mine. He is a jazz guitarist and he plays a custom 8 string guitar. He can play the bass and guitar parts at the same time. He is a freak of nature.

why do people think the best guitarists are all the egomaniacal wank-meisters in ridiculous sunglasses who spend decades releasing solo albums that only appeal to legions of aspiring musos with dreams of someday becoming guitar gods...

... rather than the ones that play well as part of a band? there is something to be said for knowing when to let loose and when to reign it in & let the other band members do their thing. even pavarotti shuts up and lets other people sing, once in a while.

I know exactly who are you referring to. YNGWIE MALMSTEEN

Thats how neo-classical metal is. Some overrated guitarist just shows off. It reminds me of the guitar played from the movie School of Rock. If i'm thinking of the right movie that is.

Sorry to say, i happen to like some of Yngwies early playing.
Far beyond the sun is well played song, his sound is unique,
might have something to do with scalloped neck and DiMarzio mics.

I like many guitar players. For many reasons.
But for Unique Sound, Yngwie has it,
Love it or Hate it you guys cant deny that.

    Cheers:

    Spoiler: Show
