DAMNN 3rd gen great link.
The 9700Pro beats the 5900 in every test that I saw and I looked at like 7 of them.

Indeed it did. Interesting. Also, when the 5900 beat the 9700PRO those very few times, it really wasn't by much at all. I really shall reconsider....
Ok, I guess I'm back to ATi, with the 9700PRO. Just which should I buy out of these?
I would get the Powercolor one. Its $219. Thats the one I got and it is Awesome. Comes with some decent software too.
Also...DWK sure was talking a LOT of shit in the other thread about how benchmarks dont lie...well they sure dont and as in the link adam gave you...ati won.

Ok then Powercolor it is. DWk seems really smart though, and seems to be a nice guy, so I still respect him, he just probably never came across that page, so you can't talk shit about him just because of that..
Im not, I'm just saying even he says benchmarks dont lie! lol
BTW, 3rd gen, Virtual body, and Clocker are basicly the kings in this place, incase you didnt know.

i'm flattered that you think that, but i don't think i could have myself put on that list (and no, i'm not being modest)
i'd say that clocker, lynx, virtualbody, lamsey and adamp2p were the hardware kings at the moment (i hope i didn't leave anyone out...)

Also note that Nvidia's drivers for the FX series are HORRIBLE right now, (the new detonators are starting to bring things back in check though.) The cards really arnt doing that well in DX 9 tests, because, like I said, the drivers for DX 9 compliant games are just bad right now.
