Judging by the appearence i would say its a hardware problem, its unlikley that software alone could cause that, it probably banks down to moniter or connection.
Also the 5200 is overrated if its DX9 support you want just get a higher card.
i have a 5200 and only had that when i oc'ed my card to far. is your card OC'ed at all? try the 45.XX drivers.
i put a temp probe like underneath the heatsink close to the GPU
ok, i tested GTA:vice city on my old hdd, and IT WORKS!!! wtf?! is it the hdd thats bad?
