    Got it, ta.
I love the diversity of Mad Caddies, watched 'em live and I've been smitten since.

    Tanks for the link again.
I dug out "Me First - Are A Drag" the other night, forgot how much I enjoy it.

Its track number one on my latest mix tape

HOORAY FOR EAMON AND HIS EX-HOES !!!

the absolute classic thing that happened was that i had a couple of the lines from that song in my msn nickname along with (DAMNED MISSED CALLS!!&#33...and the classic part was that the 2 latest missed calls were from my ex and her best friend came on msn (and she was with my ex when she tried to call me) and she saw that and thought that those 2 lines were about my ex...wait a second...they were about my ex so what am i talking about *but she doesnt know i hate my ex with all my heart*

and Gutter i want to hear your punk cover of it...oh and can ya find out for me who did the punk cover of the kinks - lola...i've got the mp3 but it has the artist as *punk cover*...and i really wanna know who does it cause its pretty cool...

Oh and in the next coming weeks *21 More Reasons Why* will be completed...stay tuned for teh thrilling sequal to teh number one chartseller *21 Reasons Why*...

I gotta get some tabs for that song first, It sounds like a fun song to play a little more upbeat. As for your unknown artist punk cover this is the most likely answer:

    Artist: The Raincoats
    Album Title: Raincoats

    1. Fairytale in the Supermarket - 2:55
    2. No Side to Fall In - 1:46
    3. Adventures Close to Home - 1:52
    4. Off Duty Trip - 3:14
    5. Black and White - 2:28
    6. Lola - 4:01
    7. The Void - 3:51
    8. Life on the Line - 4:21
    9. You're a Million - 3:32
    10. In Love - 3:11
    11. No Looking - 3:16

Picking the "best" Raincoats is more an intellectual exercise than it is a work of thoughtful criticism. So, to make it easy for the benighted, all three studio releases are absolutely essential. Their live cassette is wonderful, but I wouldn't start there. Better yet, start with their debut, a soaring, daring, avant-garde-influenced folk-punk record. Don't let the words "avant-garde" scare you off; the Raincoats are not harsh or unapproachable. In fact, this music, even at its most dissonant, is stunning and captivating. There's a great cover of the Kinks' "Lola" that's so skewed and obtuse, I'm sure Ray Davies never dreamed it could sound this way. Reissued by Geffen on CD with extra tracks in 1995.

well if your track clocks in at about 4:01 it should be the same song, although there are a lot of artists that cover that song. that was the main punk rock cover of lola that i found.

I was once going to download The_Facemans "Punk Covers" folder just for the super-fun task of finding each and every artist that was doing the cover. you can tell I really dislike renamed files. especially all those "punk covers" and false mfatgg songs.
