Thread: Radeon 9800 Pro ?

  1. #1
How much better would it be than my current card, a Ge Force 4 Titanium 4600 (only 4x agp), would I notice a substantial difference in performance ?

Following an earlier post I made:
I will be returning the Ge Force 4 to the shop after being told it is covered by a 1 year warranty . I doubt I'll get another Ge Force in it's place though, as they don't stock them any more, all FX etc. Possibly gonna build another comp to so another card (radeon 9800 pro) would come in handy.

so according to that article, the card im getting in a few months time (the gforce 5950u) is the best card out, but just one thing even though it looks the most powerfull out of them all, does it out perform the rest?

i know, looking through that hardware guide, it makes me want to get the 9800 but past experience with ati on 3 different machines makes me afraid to go for one.

What happened to your last 3 Ati powered machines?
