    Tha A7N8X is only $20 more and right after xmas it was only $83. The gigabyte has daul channel..pretty ugly tho. Orange, bright yellow and lime green..ugh

    not where i live tere's a big price difference and I don't care about ugliness green purple lime... really aslong as it's fast and stable wiht no problemos.

    Actually what I really want to buy is an abit board... too bad

    i would go with the single channel board its only a little slower but the board and one stick of RAM is cheaper than dual-channel and two sticks of identical RAM

    also the KT400 board is even cheaper than the Nforce2 400, slower obviously and it doesn't truely support DDR400

    yea my board is based on VIA KT400 chipset.... and i havent had any trouble AT ALL.... have had it for a year now and it can last longer cuz i recently flashed (updated) the bios and now it can support updates to a 3000+ cpu...

    which is awesome
