ok, I have shadow's client now. with my isp, my limit of downloads/uplaods is 2 gb a month. If a download songs and maybe a large 500 mb file, i should be okay for the dling part. as for uploads, from what I have heard you upload a lot. lets say that I download about 4 full albums a month and maybe a large file no bigger than 650 mb, will i go over my upload limit? if yes how can I set it so that I won't without usaing netlimiter?
ohy yeah, and what does a tracker do?

I know stuff ...
A tracker simply registers who are on a given .torrent and what their ip adress is,this information is provided to the Bt client of anyone else on that .torrent so it can connect to them
The general rule is you should seed back 100% of what you downloaded,if you do that then you will have no problem figureing out what your upload amount is going to be
If you attack the establishment long enough and hard enough, they will make you a member of it.

I'm saying you should keep your download window open 'til you have uploaded as much as you downloaded

Right, unless you want to be a leech, which is not cool.
