How much data can a DVD hold??

I ask this because i want to know what size a DVD Image should be.

Because im sick of downloading these Dvd-rips of movies and they have really dark images.

I just want to download the DVD Image and run it with daemon tools

DVD holds 4.7Gb, but yours sounds more like a codec problem. Have you tried converting to KVCD - see HERE

This way you can burn to CDR and watch through DVD player - provided your DVD player is compatible

The link I put ion tells you how to format the file, then you use Nero to burn.

A couple of hours on my machine. Runs by itself though - set it going and come back when its done. Quality is good if your avi is good quality.
