If the person who owns the hardware wants to solder things into it then that is their business. If I want to change the shock absorbers on my car then it is no-ones business but mine. This is no different.

If I buy something then I own it. If I want to change it then it has nothing to do with anyone else.

If I do it during the warranty period, then the warranty is invalid. That is my problem, no-one else's.

I just went to vcdquality.com and it&#39;s still up. Afterdawn.com is another means of getting vcd/dvd/whatever conversion questions answered besides here of course.
