Sounds like winner to me. I know one of the biggest drawbacks I have using Peer Guardian is how it slows down my pc. I would love to test it.

FTFakes - the start page worked for me until i installed edexter, seems its the HOSTS file is blocking desktop.kazaa.com and thus just replaces the start page with the blank image, i think removing it from HOSTS should fix the start page prob...

deskto.kazaa.com has to be blocked by the hosts file. i'm not shure, but the problem might be that edexter installs a webservers and uses port 80. gktool also tries to listen on port 80 but fails if edexter is already running. you don't need edexter for kazaa as gktoolbar is doing the job.

i'm currently working on the start page problem others had. should be fixed within the next hour(s).

it not that its because they both run webservers , i did try it earlier.

I shall release RC8b in about 30 minutes, nothing major just sorts out a few things

Edit: if i can get some webspace sorted, fourvalve is down, ill see what i can do
