Copy BannedIPs.txt to same folder as kazaa.exe
(usually in "C:\Program Files\Kazaa")
if you want to ban certain IP ranges. It's the same text file used by PeerGuardian so
get the updated list from them. klr will block both TCP and UDP connections.

Banned IPs
==========
A log file will be saved in the same folder as kazaa.exe of all IPs that have been banned. Make sure that the folder where kazaa is located is writable if you're not an administrator and you want the log file. The name of the log file is the current date in the format 'yyyymmdd.txt', where yyyy = 4-digit year, mm = 2-digit month, dd = 2-digit day of month, eg. '20031231.txt'.

It will only block IPs from other people on the FastTrack network (eg. supernodes and other users you're uploading to or downloading from), but not kazaa's web browser.

To disable this banned IP ranges feature, simply delete BannedIPs.txt or remove all IP ranges in it (creating an empty file).

I got the PR1 release but there seems to be a problem in using it with bluetack's Blocklist Manager, it says IP filtering is not enabled (it works fine with klr) and since you have included the Bad IP updater I'm assuming IP filtering works and there are some registry keys missing.
Could anyone tell me how to make this work and does k-lite 2.6 have IP filtering capabilies?

youre right it doesnt.....but the bluetack Blocklist Manager still reads the K++ key in the registry for its export .

Thanks dg_mortal its working now
I have another question, The traffic limit is set to 2 d/l simultaneously but the accelerator seems to ignore this, and when I try to change the limit from options it gives an error since the max search results are >200 (921, wonder who came up with this number). Where are the registry entries for this so I can change the max simultaneous d/l number and how do I stop FTA from starting more than this number (I checked skip 'Paused' and 'Queued&#39

I'm impressed. Aside from a few minor nuances that have already been adressed here, it was easy to install and it works great. Good job to all who worked on it. Just out of curiosity, does this version make it so that your full list of shared files is not viewable? I looked through the changes but I didn't see it, maybe I missed it?

BTW: Nice job on the installer package nsane.

FTA will always start more than you want. there is no setting to disable that. it was always a quirk of that program. the only accelerator i ever used that actually skipped the things you didnt want started and didnt start more than you allowed it to is the built in accelerator of kl extensions. you might try ShareMonkey Speedup since FTA is extremely old. if you go to FTA's site, it takes you to the sharemonkey site.....so they might be the same thing with sharemonkey speedup being the newer, more updated version. not guaranteeing that it wont do the same thing though .

K, thanks for clarifying that. Keep up the good work, I can't wait for the final release.
