Thread: Unable To Watch Downloaded Films

  1. #1
I have downloaded several films (taking days to do so) and cannot watch a single one of them.

I have tried using Kazaa, DivX Player, Real One, Windows media Player, XVid and DivX Movies.

Am I the only one experiencing this problem - can anyone help???

Are you sure the movies are real? If they're new movies you might have downloaded fakes

    Hello!

I would not recommend VLC as the main player since it is not easy to use for beginners(very unintuitive and lacks GUI for many playback control functions). Instead I would recommedn the best of them all Crystal player:

    http://www.crystalplayer.com

    It is free and oustanding!

VLC still is better at some formats such as SVCD so if you encounter a file downloaded on Kazaa that Crystal player cannot play yhen you still need Video Lan Client(VLC)

    Which you can get here:

    http://www.videolan.org

But you would only need to use it very seldom when CP refuses to play a file!. For me CP has only refused to play 2 files that I have downloaded out of about 100.

And as loudangry pointed out are you sure you download real moviefiles?.

Real moviefiles are huge about 600MB or more usually arund 700-800MB but there is some that are even bigger then 1 Gig.

To be almost sure to find real ones used the verified section on this forum. They are files that people have tested and posted Sig2dat links for and that will be searched with and attempted to download with Kazaa Lite if you click them. Here it is:
