You Better Keep In Mind That I Can Read Between The Lines
Never argue with an idiot, they drag you down to there level and beat you with experience!!
I do have to admit, a nice set of speakers and soundcard do make a huge difference. This VBR, at least by design, is no different than it was a year ago, except that Lame has been tweaked a bit more, and the samples are really impressive. I find the biggest noticable difference comes when burning the files back to disk. The VBR sounds pretty damn crisp. :music1:

Good One Guys. Lame VBR has been around a long time, nothing new. For doing quality rips it is great. Usually better sound than 192 bit rate and usually a smaller file size. I use Poikosoft CD/DA Extractor to rip with because you can use the LAME configurator to edit all the properties of the rip. Can go up to 48,000 sample rate in either CBR or VBR. I got the trial version and liked it well enough to shell out the 25 bucks to buy the fully functional version. VBR is by far the best sounding rip for the file size but the stuff I rip just so share on FT I make em 192 because FT does not show the bitrate on VBR files so not too many up them from me and they don't spread like 192s. Anyway thanks for the work you all are doing, it is much appreciated and if ya get the new Incubus~A Crow Left Of The Murder hook us up cause I only have Megalomaniac so far. I get allot of pre release stuff so if ya ever need anything not yet released lemme know and I,ll be glad to send it your way.
Thanks

a question:
what network are these files being released on?
neither fasttrack or soulseek are really very good for such...as one doesn't support sharing partial downloads, and the other doesn't support
multi-source at all....And dude.SoulSeek is #1 for Music.
