OK will my cpu like just starting failing if, I keep overclocking and then go back to default speed and then overclock again and then go back to default speed.

Like will your cpu fail if you keep changing you clock speed all the time
    Ohh noo!!! I make dribbles!!!

I don't think it does anything to change it often but do you really notice a big difference when you set it faster?

It also wouldn't be that bad if it did fail. (Intel Pentium II - 400MHz.)... Just a good excuse to upgrade.

Not that unbelievable, after all it's running 25% faster whereas a 100MHz on a P4 2GHz would only be an increase of 5%.
if your font size is this small i'll add you to my ignore list because you're wasting my time, OK?

Switching between 400MHz and 504MHz won't do any harm at all, although running it constantly at 504MHz may do.

Your 26% speed increase is quite impressive, I suspect you see far more of a performance improvement than abu does with his 8.33% speed increase.

    Edit: typo

The cpu I had was clocked for 16 months and ran smooth as hell with everything I threw at it now moved on but still overclocking make sure your fan is big enough is all I can say.
