Exchange rates are ephemeral things and in themselves don't mean much.

A weak dollar means that imports are expensive and consequently locally produced alternatives are cheaper; conversly exports look more attractive to overseas customers .

On the downside, essential imports are more expensive.

However, it is good time to plan a US holiday, if you can get in ......

i own a house in sussex with very little left to pay on the morgage....if i sell and convert the money to dollars........ I'M RICH, I'M RICH I TELL YOU WHOOPPPEEEEEEEEE !!!!!!!!

it’s an election with no Democrats, in one of the whitest states in the union, where rich candidates pay $35 for your votes. Or, as Republicans call it, their vision for the future.

Well as the dollar is not worth all that much at the moment, it would be really a relative richness
