Things going great this end...trying to sort some transport/money for the pub crawl. Went on a similar thing with another forum I post on and it was great, very drunken but great fun.

I would love to have the time, money, motivation.
But on top of that, I cant drink as Im pregnant, so it would defeat the objective of "pub crawling"......hey! I could be designated driver.
Everyone has to squeeze in me lil pug 106 though.


It's a shame, I could drink anyone under the table too.

Aye, I guess a pub crawl wouldn't be much fun if you can't drink...

I used to be able to drink people under the table but for some reason as I've gotten older I can handle my liquor less well...and hangovers get me real bad as well these days.

The best way to avoid hangovers is to steel clear of dark liqours. (except pernod)
I haven't had a bad one in ages. The worst feeling I ever had was a bad trip. Had spiders the size of dogs crawling about my room. Never again.

My pal swears by drinking cold chicken soup when getting in from a night out.....each to their own I suppose.

I find if I drink a pint of water or two when I get in then I feel a lo better in the morning. However, it's remembering to drink that water that is the problem, sometimes I'm surprised that I made it home at all.

I think my worst hangover occurred, when I was more reckless, I'd been up all night doing various narcotics and drinking quite a bit, I got about an hours sleep then had work. I actually passed out for a moment in the staff room I was that bad...fortunately I managed to pull myself together but for a moment I thought I was gonna fall asleep on the floor

heh heh, done that. I worked in a liqour dept. while going to college.
After a night out I staggered home at 5am, then tried to sleep for a bit before starting work at 8am. I must have got half hours kip, before going to work.

While I was pulling the cigarettes out of the huge safe I fell asleep.
Bad enough, but when I woke I broke a bottle of cheap whiskey on the floor.
I was an ill puppy.

Anyhoo, it's gotta be bedtime. Smoking me j, and hitting the hay.

I nearly died on a cheese string! Seriuosly!
I swallowed a huge bit while sucking it, it went flying back into my windpipe, I tried coughing it up, and it lodged itself in my nose!
dangling down my throat!
It was sooooo painful, I just couldn't breath.....but, damn, it cleared out my sinus'.
