Port 1214

I was just wondering, what exactly is port 1214 and why is it disabled by default? I'm assuming its the default kazaa port but I'm not really sure. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Listening at port 1214, which is the default port, is disabled by default. This improves your privacy and security. Also when you are on a school/university/work network port 1214 could be blocked.

sorry if i go slightly o/t
if i connect my kazaalite on port 80 (as i am suspecting my isp is blocking other ports) is my computer exposed too much even having a firewall (zonealarm)
