Thread: Another Windows Clean-up Tool?

  1. #1
I'm currently using Norton System Works Pro 2004's
one-button check up for cleaning up etc.
and i've always wondered just how good the registry check etc. are?
I would like to try another program to test Norton!
Can anyone recomend one? (or three )

Also, can I use it without un-installing Norton (pain in arse to re-install)?
I've heard of Windows Washer, does it do this and is it any good?

    Cheers!

you did not have to install norton 2004, you could run the utilities for the cd without installing.

    I use RegSupreme....
Its 10 times faster than nortons registry checker(WinDoctor), it finds shit that nortons misses and its not a bloated program

Right, now I've installed Windows Washer and its Great!! Windows Washer just Cleans up your windows...etc.
Does Norton Do more? Or am I confused?

I now want an alternative to the one button check up thing that Norton Sytem- works does!
DVD pirate is that what Regsupreme does?
    Im sure it does

I dont know too much about the technical side of things but I'd say that this falls into the category that your talking about..(One button check up)
And its less resource using and very quick
