Very Interesting. I'm using Norton SystemWorks 2003 (Updated via LiveUpdate) and caught all but 6 as well. Here's a screenshot:

You won't learn until you try these things. Grab the bull by the horns so to speak. Too many people are not getting clued up these days and it's scary. Just ensure you take precautions and listened to everyone's advice previous and you should be fine. I'm interested what results you'd get also...

    Dropper:
Any program which, when run, installs another program. A common kind of dropper is a virus dropper, which when run will install a virus in the machine.
Most of the remaining files were droppers. Not viruses themselves, but they could install a virus.
I guess I gotta get an anti dropper program now too

Thanks for backing up what you said and testing it...
    thats all i asked...
These tests are just "theory" tests and for the average home user etc that no nothing about this sort of stuff these are real life scenarios. so the point of these test exercises was to make people aware of stuff, so we'll leave it at that...

Edit: gotta go edit my other post...lol

Ok, I did it, McAfee found all but 6.

EDIT: Does anyone know why it says I scanned 621 files?
